I'm a teacher at a secondary school in Barcelona, Spain, called Oak House. It is a school which teaches in three languages: English, Spanish and Catalan. The specific subjects I teach may vary slightly each year, but include:
  • English as a second language for the Cambridge Exams (First Certificate, Advanced and Proficiency)
  • General English (literature and language) at 6th Form
  • Sociology (IGCSE)
  • Ethics
Before working at Oak House I spent almost 10 years at the British Council in Barcelona, teaching teenagers and adults. During the same period I also worked for other schools and did some teacher-training.

Apart from teaching, I have also worked for various companies and have qualifications in Human Resources and in Marketing.

My university degree was in Applied Psychology. More recently I have studied for a postgraduate diploma in using technology in the language classroom, organised by Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.
