Reflection

So far, it looks like:

Locations:

  • Moodle - course outline, tasks, deadlines, grades with work 'handed in' digitally
  • Google sites - online presenence, more attractive, plenty of gadgets, including google wave for 3D chat, calendars, etc.

Tools:

  • Google docs (or Dropbox?) as an online store and to transfer and use all existing information.
  • Dropbox for hotpotatoes (in public folder)
  • Voki - as an avatar in the web page - or as an 'audio' option within hot potatoes

The work itself - with students as full/parcial editors:

  • Wiki - more detailed collaborative projects
  • Blog - alongside class to share and comment (overall participation grade) - within sites
  • Google docs - to create text in groups (different groups) - word or presentations, etc
  • Google sites - for a more permanent presence, including all subjects, google wave and other gadgets
  • Glocker, Woordle, etc - one-off homework or to illustrate the site.
  • Twitter - mini-projects (not that relevant to my students / timetable)
  • Extranormal - mini-project?
