Skype activities

Skype can be used as part of classroom activities.

For example, in the case of Japanese students and future language teachers, skype video conferencing was used regularly, following previous preparation. The students worked first to find material, then through discussion via forums, then at the conference itself. The Japanese students were careful with their preparation while the Spanish were more 'relaxed' and the interaction taught each to adapt to each others' communication styles.
